Fabricating Quality Steel Plate Tanks

Since 1905 Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has been fabricating steel plate tanks. Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has always made it imperative to fabricate our tanks to meet the precise needs and specifications of the customer. Therefore, we have made a wide range of process tanks, pressure vessels, storage tanks, exhaust stacks, silos, scrubbers and many other tanks for our customers.

As our customers represent a wide range of industries - power, chemical, paper, waste water treatment - the tanks we fabricate within our shop must be made out of a wide range of materials, in order to perfectly meet the customers needs. Chattanooga Boiler and Tank makes tanks out of stainless steel, carbon steel, duplex stainless steel, nickel alloy, aluminum alloy, hastelloy, inconel and other exotic materials.

Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company is certified to design, shop fabricate, or field erect ASME Section VIII Div 1 pressure vessels that require "R", "S", or "U" Code Stamps.

Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company commonly designs and constructs storage tanks in accordance with API 650, API 620, AWWA D100, ANSI B96.1, as well as to customer specified design criteria.

Using advanced CAD and NC programming technologies, our engineering staff is able to develop accurate layouts for complex components. Combined with our Fabrication Shop's NC programmable burning table, located in our shop, this allows us to produce precisely cut pieces to ensure proper fit-up and improve the quality of the finished product. Often, not only does the advanced technology of the CB&T's Engineering Department and Fabrication Shop deliver a higher quality product, but it is often at a lower price point than our competitors.

Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has constructed Steel Stacks ranging from 40' x 70' tall to 24' x 315' tall, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company has the expertise to provide our customers with the exact stack or chimney that their project requires.

Chattanooga Boiler and Tank can fabricate Structural Beams made out of stainless steel and other alloys.

Chattanooga Boiler and Tank also provides the option of Maintenance and Repair contracts with our fabricated tanks. We have long-term and short-term contracts available. Our Maintenance and Repair crews are available for emergency and planned plant shutdowns and specialize in providing a quick, efficient response with a minimum of plant production disruption.
