Quality & Engineering Since 1905
Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company was founded in 1905 to serve the boiler repair and new vessel needs of the Tennessee Valley area of Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. Our reputation as a competent and efficient tank fabricator grew to the point that boiler work was de-emphasized and eventually phased out in favor of the tank fabrication and erection business. The name, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank, was left unchanged to preserve continuity with our valued customers.
Today, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company, a subsidiary of Williams Enterprises of Georgia, erects tanks and vessels throughout the continental United States, and ships fabrication around the world. Our main emphasis is on shop-fabricated and field-erected tanks, stacks, silos, and pressure vessels constructed of stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and exotic alloys which we have the ability to design as well. We also specialize in larger, more complex shop fabricated tanks, pressure vessels, and other welded steel plate structures.
Our primary markets are the chemical, Petrol-chemical, pulp and paper, food and power industries. Throughout our history, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company has kept pace with the latest technology in the fabrication and erection business and is certified to build ASME Code pressure vessels and commonly builds tanks to API, AWWA, and many other design standards.
