The majority of Chattanooga Boiler and Tank's work is for customers in the Pulp and Paper, Petrol-Chemical, and Power Industries. However, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank does a great deal of work for other industries as well. These industries include, but are not limited to, the Metals Industry, the Plastics Industry, the Waste Water Treatment Industry, the Pharmaceutical Industry, the Fiber Industry, the Fertilizer Industry, and the Food Industry.
Our work in these industries often involves the fabrication or erection of storage tanks and process tanks. CB&T has built many pressure vessels, silos, ductwork, and steel stacks for these industries. Chattanooga Boiler and Tank typically fabricates and erects these products using carbon steel plate, duplex stainless steel plate, stainless steel plate, but we have the capability to use more exotic materials including hastelloy and inconel. CB&T often fabricates and erects these tanks and vessesls to meet the API 650, API 620, API 653, ASME Section VIII, and AWWA D100 specifications.
In addition, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Maintenance & Repair Division offers short-term and long-term contracts for tanks and vessels made by CB&T and others. For the Petroleum Industry Chattanooga Boiler and Tank is highly involved in all stages - design, to shop fabrication, to field erection of Scrubbers.Chattanooga Boiler and Tank's scrubbers are essential to remove SO2, Acid Gases, Heavy Metals, Particulates and other Pollutants from the plant emissions. Our normal scope of work on these projects includes the detail design engineering, shop fabrication and field erection of the absorber / scrubber vessel and the other tanks and vessels required in the emissions reduction process. Chattanooga Boiler and Tank works for many of the major air-pollution control technology companies in most geographical regions of the United States. CB&T constructs scrubbers from various materials including stainless steel, hastelloy, inconel, and a variety of other exotic metals. We assist these process technology suppliers with the structural design of their absorbers / scrubbers in an effort to reduce their costs. We also provide them with budgetary price proposals to assist them in their bidding process.
