Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company is certified to design, shop fabricate, or field erect ASME Section VIII Div 1 pressure vessels that require "R", "S", or "U" Code Stamps. Through the years, we have built a vast array of pressure vessels that range in wall thicknesses of 3/16" to over 2", in diameters up to 30 feet, and weights up to 150 tons. As Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has customers in many different industries and with many different needs, our experience in fabrication and erection of Pressure Vessels is immense. CB&T has fabricated Pressure Vessels out of stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, carbon steel, hastelloy, and inconel and is always willing to work with the material that best suits our customer’s needs.
If your Pressure Vessel is too large to ship, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank possesses decades of experience in on-site construction of pressure vessels and other products. Our experience in field construction is critical in the planning of proper site scheduling, allowing us to plan for specific assembly, coordination with other subcontractors, welding and heavy lifting with a minimum of plant disruption. Chattanooga Boiler and Tank also has an Engineering Department that provides design services for our customers allowing us to provide every aspect of construction under one roof to maximize cost savings in this highly competitive business.

Chattanooga Boiler and Tank's Maintenance and Repair Division has years of experience of repairing Pressure Vessels with a minimum of plant disruption during both planned and emergency shutdowns. While CB&T sends field and maintenance crews from Chattanooga across the country, we have recently opened a Field Services Office in Richmond, Virginia to better serve our numerous customers in this area. Chattanooga Boiler and Tank offers long-term and one-time maintenance contracts to all of our current and future customers.
