Process Tanks are the heart of Chattanooga Boiler and Tank’s business. We have constructed various types and designs of Process Tanks for a wide range of uses for our customers in the Chemical, Pulp and Paper, and Plastics Industry. Chattanooga Boiler and Tank will build the Process Tank out of the material that best suits our customer’s need. We have constructed Process Tanks out of many different alloys of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Nickel, Aluminum, Hastelloy, and Inconel.
If you need to have 2 miles of bent heating or cooling coils or if you need to support layers of 500 tons of catalysts inside one tank, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has the experience to design, fabricate or erect your specialized Process Tank.
If you need a heat exchanger that has 4,000 2½” tubes in a 28’ heat exchanger or if you need to build a structure 28’ in diameter and 320’ tall that will scrub pollutants from your customer's exhaust, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has done it before.
