Due to extensive work with the pulp and paper industry, the chemical industry, and the power industry Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company has shop fabricated and field erected many types of dry storage silos, bins, and hoppers for products ranging from heavy limestone or coal to lightweight plastic pellets. CB&T has produced polished internal surfaces and have incorporated flow-enhancing devices inside these structures. For the power industry we have constructed many coal silos for coal fire power plants. CB&T has the ability to design and construct silos, bins, and hoppers from stainless steel, aluminum, duplex stainless steel, or carbon steel, along with any other exotic material the customer requires, and our engineering and quality assurance programs guarantee a product of the highest quality.
Chattanooga Boiler and Tank provides scrubber design, fabrication and erection services as well. We specialize in producing air pollution control equipment. These technologies help to remove SO2, Acid Gases, Heavy Metals, Particulates and other Pollutants from the plant emissions. Our normal scope of work on these projects includes the detail design engineering, shop fabrication and field erection of the absorber / scrubber vessel and the other tanks and vessels required in the emissions reduction process.

Our field crews know how to assemble your product in a quick and safe manner, providing as little disruption in normal plant operations as possible.
Chattanooga Boiler and Tank also provides Maintenance and Repair contracts for both CB&T built material and other-party built vessels. These contracts can be long-term or one-time and cover both scheduled and emergency shutdowns. CB&T knows that often Repair contract calls for immediate startup, quick work, constant and accurate communication with the client and other subcontractors, and the years of service to our customers is a testament to the quality of service and workmanship we provide. Also, we have recently opened a Field Services Office in Richmond, Virginia for our customers in the area.
