Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company has built stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, and carbon steel stacks and chimney liners from the coasts of New England to the deserts of the southwest. We have built everything from single-wall stacks with wind spoilers to dual-wall stacks incorporating vibration dampening systems.
With the capability to fabricate from most metals, stainless steel and carbon steel to Hastelloy® and inconel, and having constructed stacks ranging from 40' x 70' tall to 24' x 315' tall, Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Company has the expertise to provide our customers with the exact stack or chimney that their project requires. Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has a Design Department that can engineer a solution for our customer's various needs.
Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has immense experience in shop fabricating and field erecting emission stacks for the power industry. Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has constructed countless emission stacks for coal fire power plants, and has for many years provided maintenance service for those stacks in both planned and emergency shutdown situations. In today's Power Industry Natural Gas Fired Power Plants are representing an ever increasing percentage of the total energy output. Right along with the power industry Chattanooga Boiler and Tank has been involved in all stages of production of emission stacks for both simple cycle power plants and combined cycle power plants. This experience allows Chattanooga Boiler and Tank to construct emission stacks in a quick and efficient manner without sacrificing safety and quality, which is why Chattanooga Boiler and Tank is so valued by our customers.
Chattanooga Boiler and Tank also has erected and fabricated many emission scrubbers and absorbers for our customers in the Power Industry. CB&T has years of experience fabricating and erecting air pollution control equipment. These technologies help to remove SO2, Acid Gases, Heavy Metals, Particulates and other Pollutants from the plant emissions. Our normal scope of work on these projects includes the detail design engineering, shop fabrication and field erection of the absorber / scrubber vessel and the other tanks and vessels required in the emissions reduction process.
